New Journey.

I quit my job on Monday & I cannot tell you how liberating that felt. No more being a nanny for a family who thought they were rich enough to “afford” me. The weekly payment was horrible, about 1/4 of the money went to my gas for the daily commute (& they weren’t willing to reimburse me for it). On top of that, they also couldn’t give me a raise so the ultimate conclusion to this was tell them goodbye. It felt so good. I will miss the girls that I took care of but it was bound to happen before I decided to call it quits. The girls were angels for the most part & I highly doubt I will ever meet such well behaved kids like them, unless luck rubs off on me one day, (particularly my own children hopefully?). This wasn’t a long term career to begin with anyways so I’m not worried about my future plans.

So now I’m onto a new journey; job hunting for my next career. I lost track of how many places I applied for & sent resumes to. I’m definitely not looking into being a nanny. Its a lot of work having to take care of someone else’s offspring & sometimes politics can be an interference. The pay isn’t stable either. I’m looking into a full time job just for that financial stability. It has only been 3 days since I quit my job & I’m already going crazy with deprivation of hope that someone will call me for an interview asap. *Barbie, have faith! You should have had a backup job ready before you quit!* D’oh.

In the mean time I’m going to continue what I’ve been doing & enjoy my free time at home with Ryan & Viola. Until next time.

The Final Rose Prediction

I’m at my cousin’s babysitting her daughter. Thought I’d update a meaningless blog while we’re kicking back & watching tv. Coming up next: The Bachelor. Vienna seriously needs to get off. the show, she’s beginning to get on my last nerve. What’s so special about this little high maintenance floozy? Nothing except for the fact her daddy is practically her ATM; whenever Vienna wrecks a car or wants something, all she has to do is ask her old man. I also cannot stand looking at Vienna’s face. Is she cross-eyed or is there something wrong with her appearance? I cannot quite put a finger on it but she’s ugly & so is her fake personality. How would this benefit Jake in the long run? He probably has money because he’s been a pilot for a least ten years. Commonly, pilots do not rake in serious cash until they’ve reached their ten year mark of experience. I can see how he’ll get tired of her whiny & manipulative ways.

So far I’m liking either Ali or Tenley (totally loving Tenley’s name- how original). There are obvious chemistry between the three of them on a heterosexual note.

Ali: a feminist, maybe? She has a strong personality & mind set whereas she knows what she wants in life. Ali is on the show for the right reasons; love. She has goals & her shit together. Her beauty is one of a kind along with a bright persona. Not exactly charismatic although I think she’ll be next target later in the show as one of the biggest threats. But can Jake handle a woman like her? I’m thinking he might be too much of a pussy & prefers the easy little bimbos as what has already been displayed in the latest episodes (like Rozlyn who slept with one of the backstage staff lolers). I need to study Ali more before I can say anything else.

Tenley: a major sweetheart who had her heart crumpled & then shattered into millions of pieces by her cheating ex husband. Tenley is beautiful in her own ways but I think most of it is reflected by her personality. She’s experienced, definitely not in the sex department because she saved her virginity for her ex husband & hasn’t been with a man until jake, but is she on the show for the right reasons? Red flag: a possible rebound to cover whatever void she has or a revenge against her ex by being on the show to proclaim that she has moved on. Jake is obviously a softie & so is Tenly, a possible match made in heaven.

Now the show is on. I predict these girls will be the final two before the last rose is given out. May the best woman win.

& this is pretty corny considering that I don’t usually follow tacky reality shows like this.

P.s. Corrie is my personal favorite. Its unfortunate that Jake & Corrie do not click. The media hasn’t really shone much on her this season either. Oh well, he’s missing out on a little gem in disguise.
